Ventana al Sur Apartments is a new construction affordable housing project consisting of a 101-unit residential building designed to serve low-income seniors aged 62 and older. The development totals approximately 87,250 square feet and includes a mix of one- and two-bedroom units, 25 of which are designated as permanent supportive housing for formerly homeless seniors. The building is constructed on a previously vacant infill site and features structural wood framing over a concrete podium. Site improvements include surface parking, landscaped courtyards, and a community center that houses on-site supportive services such as case management and behavioral health resources. Developed by MAAC in partnership with Kingdom Development, the project was funded through a combination of low-income housing tax credits, local housing trust funds, and state-level affordable housing programs.
