The Construction Recruiter is responsible for managing full-cycle recruitment operations specifically targeting skilled trades, field labor, and project management personnel. This role partners with operations and field leadership to execute staffing plans, eliminate reliance on third-party agencies, and maintain a compliant, continuous talent pipeline to meet project schedule demands.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

• • Strong technical understanding of construction trade classifications, field terminology, and manpower sequencing.
  • Proficiency with modern ATS platforms, LinkedIn Recruiter, and digital sourcing tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with both field personnel and executive leadership.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills with a track record of managing multiple open requisitions simultaneously.

This person will be responsible for A/R and A/P processing for a well known general contractor with multiple job sites. Supporting the Senior Accountant with various duties including:

Duties:

Works closely with the Contract Administrator with change orders in order to maintain project files

Enters invoices and updates Accounts Receivable Aging

Reconciles Bank Statements for Accounts Payable and Payroll

Reconcile Vendor Statements for lien release accuracy

Provides Monthly Analysis/Cash Flow Report for Receivables and Payables to Sr Management

Process invoices, maintains weekly check runs

Maintain monthly bill checklist and distribute payments

Responsible for vendor payment inquires

Knowledgeable of Certified Payroll

Job Duties include:

• Selects type and size of pipe and related materials.
• Install, maintain, and repair HVAC-related piping.
• Split System experience.
• Running risers, setting hangers, nitrogen perging and brazing.
• Inspects worksites to determine presence of obstructions and ascertains holes will not cause structural weakness.
• Plans sequence of installation to avoid obstructions and problems with the activities of other construction worker.
• Cuts pipe, using hacksaw, pipe cutters, hammer and chisel, cutting torch, and pipe cutting machine.
• Threads pipe, using threading machine and ends pipe by hand or with pipe bending machine.
• Assembles and installs variety of metal and nonmetal pipe and pipefittings, including those of brass, copper, lead, glass, and plastic.
• Experience with Variable Refrigerant Flow a plus.
• Other duties as assigned.

Pipefitting: 3 years (Required)

• Install shop-fabricated duct work for commercial and industrial new construction
• Do field fabrications and modifications of shop-fabricated duct work
• Work with the following tools: drills, hammers, various cutting tools and snips
• Knowledge the following sheet metal applications: air-conditioning, heating, & ventilation and refrigeration

Under direct supervision, prepare detailed CAD drawings for construction projects, create and coordinate 3D model for HVAC systems.

Specific Duties – include the following.  Other duties may be assigned depending on department and requirements of position.

• Prepares detailed shop drawings for projects.
• Coordinates construction design with all trades.
• Attends and participates in coordination meetings.
• Converts red line drawings into As-Built
• Efficiently and accurately drafts details from rough sketches provided by Project Managers, Supervisors and Superintendents.
• Files and maintains drawings for fast retrieval when needed.

• College degree or vocational courses in related field, plus 3-5 years’ hands-on experience
• 3D BIM experience (modeling equipment sheet metal systems in REVIT)
• 3D or 2D CAD experience with certification and experience in construction
• 2D coordination experience (determining optimal ductwork route by overlaying architectural structural and MEP drawings in Blue Beam)
• Able to create computerized conceptual designs and layouts, where at times, there is only a limited amount of pre-established design information available
• Able to create detailed shop drawings, and submittal documents of a mechanical HVAC system for a particular project
• Must be able to conduct official reviews, markups, and request for revisions on behalf of the company design documentation for a particular project
• Familiar with the applicable codes for a particular project
• Solicit, generate, review and/or finalize the selection criteria during the preconstruction phase of a project in conjunction with the Estimating Department for the major equipment and/or major subcontractor(s)
• Requires good verbal and written communication and the ability to self-initiate activities, coordinate tasks and manage projects with strong attention to detail and follow-up
• Requires strong customer service, excellent people skills and ability to build and maintain positive, supportive working relationships while maintaining an approachable and friendly demeanor
• Requires the ability to gain cooperation of others and work in a team environment
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively, flexibly and responsively while working with competing priorities and deadlines
• Proficient computer skills with CAD and MS Office (Word, Outlook, Photo Shop, PowerPoint) and the ability to create and maintain spreadsheets and create reports.

Under direct supervision, prepare detailed CAD drawings for construction projects, create and coordinate 3D model for HVAC systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed Construction Field Install drawings (Using Fabrication Parts), models, and layouts of HVAC piping systems using CAD/BIM software (AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, etc.).
• Coordinate piping layouts with structural, architectural, plumbing, electrical, and fire protection trades to avoid conflicts.
• Review contract documents, mechanical plans, and specifications to confirm compliance.
• Generate spool drawings and fabrication sheets for prefabrication and field installation.
• Assist with material take-offs and bill of materials for procurement using Reports in Auto Desk Revit.
• Ensure that all drawings meet company standards, local codes, and project requirements.
• Collaborate with field supervisors and foremen to resolve design or installation issues.
• Update and maintain project documentation, revisions, and drawing logs.
• Participate in project coordination meetings and provide input on constructability.
• Support the fabrication shop by providing accurate, timely, and clear detailing information.

Qualifications

• Experience: 2–5 years of pipe detailing, CAD drafting, or related HVAC construction experience.
• Education: Technical degree, trade school certification, or equivalent field experience preferred.
• Software Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, and Microsoft Office; familiarity with Bluebeam preferred.
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of HVAC piping systems, fittings, valves, supports, and general construction practices.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical, architectural, and structural drawings.
• Knowledge of SMACNA, ASHRAE, and local code requirements a plus.
• Installation/Field experience is not required but highly preferred
