Developed by a joint venture of Toll Brothers Apartment Living and PGIM Real Estate, The Lindley is a striking 37‑story, approximately 800,000 sq ft luxury mixed-use high-rise at 1331 Columbia Street, straddling San Diego’s Little Italy and Columbia District. As Toll Brothers’ flagship multifamily debut in San Diego, it comprises around 442 residential units – ranging from studios and one- and two-bedrooms to penthouses and townhomes – alongside 60 extended-stay hotel units (2-8 floors), a rare hospitality element woven into the tower’s fabric. The building features about 10,500–12,000 sq ft of ground-floor retail space surmounted by a six-story podium capped with a 17,000 sq ft landscaped amenity terrace offering a resort-style pool, spa, lounges, and lush seating areas. Construction kicked off in mid-2022; the building topped out in April 2024, welcomed its first tenants in late 2024, and celebrated its grand opening in March 2025.
