Developed by a joint venture of Toll Brothers Apartment Living and PGIM Real Estate, The Lindley is a striking 37‑story, approximately 800,000 sq ft luxury mixed-use high-rise at 1331 Columbia Street, straddling San Diego’s Little Italy and Columbia District. As Toll Brothers’ flagship multifamily debut in San Diego, it comprises around 422 residential units—ranging from studios and one- and two-bedrooms to penthouses and townhomes—alongside 60 extended-stay hotel units (2-8 floors), a rare hospitality element woven into the tower’s fabric. The building features about 10,500–12,000 sq ft of ground-floor retail space surmounted by a six-story podium capped with a 17,000 sq ft landscaped amenity terrace offering a resort-style pool, spa, lounges, and lush seating areas. Construction kicked off in mid-2022; the building topped out in April 2024, welcomed its first tenants in late 2024, and celebrated its grand opening in March 2025.
