Design-build 442,000-SF Mixed-Use residential community serving graduate students and patients of the adjacent UCSD Medical Center. 800 graduate beds in a mix of unit types arranged in 2, 4 and 6 bedroom apartments in low and high rise buildings with 32,000 SF of common amenity space, café, marketplace, activity and study rooms, music practice rooms, central plaza, community gathering space and rooftop perch. There is also a parking structure with 1,200 spaces, as well as 28,000 SF UC San Diego Family House for temporary housing of patients and families being served by the UC San Diego Health System (80 beds). University of California Policy on Sustainable Practice and delivers a LEED Gold Certification/Type I Construction.
