Sam Shekhter - President/CEO

Sam Shekhter holds a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and Refrigeration Systems.  His 25 years of management experience are highlighted by his consistent ability to turn high gross profits.  His sales and negotiation skills are renowned in the industry.  Sam is best known as the man who, in 1978, took a small family-owned business with four employees and built it into a major force in the industry with over $30 million gross annual sales and over 200 employees.  He brought this wealth of experience with him when he formed Atlas Mechanical, Inc.  Under Sam’s leadership, Atlas provides quality service from installation through warranty and maintenance.  His well-capitalized company has bonding capacity with an A+ rated company and an adequate line of credit as a source of additional working capital.  Mr. Shekhter is a member of good standing of the Associated Builders & Contractors, ASHRAE, Association of General Contractors and holds State Contracting Licenses in California and Nevada.

Jim Clarke - Vice President of Construction

Sergey V.  Levinson - Vice President of Estimating, Pre-Construction and Information Services

Sergey Levinson holds Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and Refrigeration Systems, an advanced degree in Cryogenic and Refrigeration techniques, and 11 years of experience in designing, building and testing equipment for Cryogenic plants with HVAC systems, Sergey Levinson brings a wealth of knowledge to Atlas Mechanical, Inc.  Starting at Atlas Mechanical in 1992 as purchasing agent, Sergey has rapidly advanced to Vice President of Estimating, Pre-Construction & Information Services.  In his current position as Pre-Construction & Information Services, Sergey has developed a company-wide, fully integrated computerized system of estimating.  This process allows for seamless transitions from design to construction implementation.  With this program, Atlas Mechanical’s ability to bid competitively and maintain cost effectiveness has raised the bar for the entire industry.  Sergey is personally responsible for planning, coordinating and supervising Atlas Mechanical’s Estimating Department.  He ensures that the company’s goals are met through Design/Build, estimating and budgeting, cost management planning and scheduling, diversified control systems and practices, as well as data processing & management information systems.
